Dyeing Easter Eggs

One of my favorite holiday activities is dyeing Easter Eggs. Why? I don't have a clue, but it is! I was so thrilled when Chloe got old enough to introduce her to the fun activities. Having no children of my own I have to borrow them for all the fun activities that are supposed to be for children!

Actually, Carmen and Chloe were both the original founding members of our current egg dyeing troop. Over the years we have added in other family members.

We have all sorts of fun dyeing eggs, which is my favorite part, but I suspect the kids' favorite part is the Egg Hunt. We were thrilled that this year the weather cooperated. Last year it was so cold we were all wearing coats for the Egg Hunt. Cold weather makes for not very cute Easter pics :)

Carmen and I got to start the festivities. We dyed several dozens all by ourselves. Hey, if you are late, you pay the price! Fortunately for Nate and Chloe there were more than 8 dozen eggs :) There's gonna be a LOT of hard boiled and deviled eggs in the next week. LOL.

The kids are beginning to show off their artistic sides! This year we had a lot of fun with the crayons. They are becoming quite the artistes.

Velma made us some very yummy cookies.

I think everyone had enough eggs :)
