This trip into Petoskey was a girls' trip into town for craft supplies. After we hit Wal-Mart, we decided we desperately needed Starbucks coffee. Fortunately, thanks to our previous craft scouting expedition, we knew just where to go.
On the way home we glimpsed the beauty of God's creation. We decided to stop and enjoy the view.
Down the road from Petoskey is Charlevoix. We spent a lovely afternoon there playing tourists and shopping. Hurricane Gustav chose that day to rain all over us, but we found a lovely covered pavilion and had a picnic in the rain.
There were a few other hardy souls out enjoying the rainy weather as well.
